2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Trailer plug missing connector

Does the 7-pin connector just pop into the socket in the wiring box in back? Mine only has the socket - the actual connector itself was missing when I bought the truck. Where do I buy the connector cheap? Thanks.

The receiver-mounted 7-pin connector on my 2002 connects to the wiring harness with one of DC's posi-lock connectors - the one with the red tab that has to be lifted to disengage it prior to unplugging it. If that's what yours has, you may have to purchase one at the Dodge dealer since I've never seen that configuration in an RV shop. Who knows, though - it might be worth checking with some trailer hitch installer/dealers.

I just purchased one at the dealer and I believe it was $18. 00. Simple to install too. Good luck.

Great - thanks for the info, guys. I was hoping it wasn't going to mean replacing the whole module or anything .
