Trailer towing and front hub noise

Just got back from 3600 mile trip from Texas to Yellow stone park, pulling travel trailer , Have 2006, 2500 4x4 auto, averaged 10. 5 mpg at 70 mph round trip. 6000 miles on truck, hope fuel mileage gets better. I hear a little gear noise in front hubs I think, any one else hear this noise ??

the trailer is 26' tongue pull about 8000 lbs. I seem to only hear the noise when pulling trailer at about 65 mph. I have owned Fords all my life ,will not go back after owning 6. 0. Sorry, trying to learn how to use this forum.

Maybe some trailer info would be helpful so owners of similar size trailers can give an accurate comparison. (I renamed the thread and copied in the Towing, Hauling, RV forum)
