new truck

I have a chance to get a portable office. It is 12ft W X 50ft L and weighs in at 2000 lbs.

Is this something that can be pulled with a 04 LB?

I am sure it has been done before but without a permit and the proper equiptment I wouldn't try it the width is what's going to get you cause that is a permit load with escort.

simplysam is correct. However, you didn't tell us where or how far it would have to be pulled or whether it could be delivered on back roads or secondary highways.

You MIGHT be able to get away with it but its a judgement call by you. If your state or locale is covered by heavy DOT enforcement and you are talking about a significant distance by busy highway or interstate there is no way you can get away with it without permits. On the other hand, if you can pull it a short distance down rural backroads you might get away with it. Your Dodge can certainly haul the weights you mentioned.

It would probably be best to talk with your local DOT office for advice and requirements.

I would be going about 20 miles and state road would be using state road. I'll get in touch with DOT Tuesday. Thanks for the info.
