Trailer Wiring....4 pin vs 7 pin

Greetings All,
Quick question, Do I need to wire my ole 1993 with the 4 pin first then get the 4 pin to 7 Pin adapter. Or can I wire the 7 pin. I got a 7 pin trailer and will need 7 pin.

Finally, does anybody have a wiring diagram for me to use..... 4 pin or 7 pin.

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

When I had my 93, I wired in a 7-pin and had a 4 pin converter. All my trailers have 7 pin except 5.5ft x 10ft utility trailer.
