Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Tranmission Woes

Having some issues with my trans. This trans was done by the Georand Bros (who BTW are a fantastic group of people) about 9 years ago and just now, after 100k on it there is a shifting problem. I spoke with them via text and they think it's a simple problem (gonenor solenoid). My problem is they are over 300 miles from me and I don't have the time to take it to them now. Does anyone know of a Reputable Transmission shop in the Chicagoland (within 100-150 miles) area I can have it checked out at? My sincere thanks for your time everyone.

Actually when I asked them if they were affilliated with anyone near me, they told me of only one shop and that was in Gladstone, IL. Thats over 250 miles away. I might as well go back to Goerend and i will if I can't find anyone closer.
