Trans A518 4x4 vs A518 2wd

Hi All,



If I wanted to swap transmissions from a 1993 W250 4x4 A518 to a 1991 2wd A518 D350 and vice versa, would it be a direct swap? Is there anything that would need to be modified?

The OD units are different and will need to be matched to their respective sources. You will have to swap OD's from trans to trans to get them to work. Other than that the rest of the trans is the same.
