Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Please excuse my ignorance. I have a 1998 12V with an auto trans. I have 130K miles on that auto trans and am thinking I should get it reconditioned,
or rebuilt, or something before it dumps. I have heard good things about DTT
and went to their web site. I would like to have Transmission and Diff numbers to give them. The window sticker tells me little other than it is a 2500HD club cab SLT with the trailer tow group.
TRANSMISSION -Automatic 4-Speed
Axel-Anti-Spin Differential
Stamped above the trans oil pan on the drivers side is PK52119510AA 3157 2266
There is a bar code tag on the passenger side 52118 786 100445 2 A4 B3
The bell housing is stamped 238-4 AB
The diff is stamped

The bolt tag on the diff is almost impossible to read. I might be able to save it though. should I try ?
From what I see from the books the trans might be a 47RE but its not clear.
I have no idea what the diff ratio is
