Im gona give the trany bands an ajustment, bought the cd and have been making plan's I was wondering if one or all that has performed this had any input, can't afford the trany upgrades just yet and am gona do everything i can to make this stock one hold out until i can TIA Harv

Unless you plow with your truck the rear band almost never neeeds adjusment. I've said this before and some think I"m nuts but that's ok with me. The rear band is a "holding" device, it keeps an already stopped drum at rest. The front band is a "braking" device, it stops a heavy, spinning drum. That said, adjust the front band as described in the manual, it''s easy. I have overhauled a few trannies where the only toasted component was the front band.

Thank's for the input Parcher, Right now the trany seems to hold the added power just fine, I know from reading these post if i start reming on it ill be fianceing a trans, so im gona baby it until i get the funds for the updates. Harv
