trans cooler

I just finished a cooler on a customers truck. It was an older chev 3500. transmission was a NV 4500. Worked real well. Never thought of a oil cooler on one of those, but that's what he wanted and that's what he got. If anybody's interested in what I did, e-mail me and I'll tell you where and who the parts came from.

do you have temp readings from the trans without a cooler? how hot does it get running empty? towing heavy (10k +)? ... and what gains (or losses!) did you see with the cooler?

I just finished it yesterday, and I think he leaving Georgia on his way to Nevada. I really don't know. But I figure around 40-60 degree difference.
