Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) trans dying?????

I was wondering if any one else with a 99 five speed has a vibration in 4th-and5th under power. my truck has 80,000mi on it and i am starting to put more power upgrades on her and i wonderd if the nut is coming off of 5th gear and that is what i am feeling . help meeeee

Probably not the trans

I would check the U-joints on your driveshaft, the rear joint when loose or worn out will give the symptoms you describe.
