2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission trans fluid

i went to the local auto parts store looking for trans fluid. didn't see any that said atf+3 much less atf+4. or any that said it was for the dodge trans. i did find Dexron III Mercon at walmart. will this be ok in my trans. thanks. scott.

Dexron III is not OK. Walmart usually has Quaker State ATF+3. It's what I always use, because it's the only ATF+3 available most anywhere (at Walmarts).

Dont use the Dextron III

Auto Zone has Castrol ATF 3 and Ammco ATF III made by Exxon Mobile,

NAPA stores also carry the quaker state ATF+3.

well, i found the fluid..... napa... .



bigger problem. putting in the last bolt in the pan, i stripped out the flange. looks like tap/helicoil time. !@#$
