What is the best way to install a trans temp gauge?



Should it be inline on the way to trans cooler? What is the easiest way to tell which trans line is my supply to cooler vs, return line to the trans. I believe one is at the front part of the trans and one towardas the back, not sure its been a while since I last looked.

The best place to get your temp readings is the line going to the cooler. It is the line that goes from the transmission into the tank cooler on the side of the engine block. You can get a line from DC (About $90. 00) or the thermowell kit from Jannetty Racing (About $40. 00).
