I'm getting a P0871 code, replaced the trans pressure switch with a new Mopar part.
Still does the same thing. Cel light comes on and trans goes from first and shifts to
forth at 16mph. I stop and clear the code and I can drive another 500 to 1500 miles
and it does it again. It mostly happens in stop and go traffic. Truck is loaded and I
always shift with the button. VB was replaced by dealer under recall, but it started after
that. Truck is stock, non ho. Also notice a rise in trans temp when this happens.

Well I guess no one has had this issue. Dealer wants $335 to diagnose the issue. No codes found, now they
want to crack open the pan and look inside. That's there words.

No. Had the valve body recall done. Was it a reman or.... It has 202000 miles.

From what I see you probably have a bad connection in the circuit as the fault happens so occasionally.

If I remember correctly it is because of age he said. Very very occasionally he shows up again. But not like in the old days were he was around every day. We greatly miss him.
