I know that the line off of a 95 will fit on a 98 but will the one off of a 98 fit back on a 95? How hard are these to remove and put a new one back on and what all do you need?
Wasn't hard at all. Just takes a couple of wrenches. I had to add about 5qts. of oil. The only difference between the 2, is the rubber hose on the '95 line has a rubber check ball that needs to come out when put on a later truck and the '98 line won't have the port, like the '95 line.
The temp sender port on the '95 is necessary to make the OD work. The PCM won't let the OD engage until the trans temp is up to a minimum temp. You can trick it with a resistor in the connector.
