I am very confused on what to do. Tonight while working on the truck I noticed I have one of the lines coming off of the round trans cooler leaking. So of coarse I came here to check and see what was the best way to correct. Well I noticed that some are replacing with high pressure rubber hose and some with stainless steel. And then others are blowing $350+ getting parts from dealer. What is the best way to go? I am leaning towards the rubber hoses. Because of cost. Any suggestions and for those who have used rubber. let me see if I got this right. 1/2" I. D. hose, Threaded end to cooler 3/8"NPT, Trans end 1/4". And also are you using these same lines up to the trans cooler uip by the radiator or are you leaving those lines alone. How did you put the sensor to the line on with the rubber hose configuration, did you have to use some sort of tee. Thanks
