trans. lines

I'm new to this so have patience.
I've had problems with the lines and fixed some things- got rid of the plastic fitings after one melted. I would like to have everything threaded together instead of clamps. Is the dodge kit threaded? A friend is milling a piece so I can have my temp sender and the stock sensor in the line out of the transmission.
I'm sure enjoying going through all the posts, and learning stuff too. Thanks.

This is a very common failure
Dodge offer a complete replacement line set with all the fittings, that screws together.

I posted a way to fix that problem permanently using Dayco push-on hose and fittings. It cost me 25-30 dollars if I remember correctly. Do a search on this and you'll be amazed how many results it comes up with. I'd give you a link but I don't know how to.

Thanks Ted. I should have said the mechanic that put in my BD cooler re-routed the lines so they go straight from the stock cooler back to the transmission. Is there any problems with too cool trans temps?(other than a delay in shift to OD + TC lockup -not much of a problem in S. Ca. )
