I would like to know how to get my trans to upshift each gear at 2700-2800 rpm. why? The ISB300 has its peak power at 2500 rpm . and governed at 2600 rpm. the ISB wasn't designed to make 300hp at 3100rpm. Everyone complains that when you up the power alot the egt's go through the roof. I did a little experiment - PM3 set on 9, tc locked up in D. WOT. 2700 rpm, and brakes aplied to hold a constant rpm. EGT's stayed under 1300. I wish I had something heavy to pull so I could do more research. transmission experts HEEELLLPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changing the valve body to a modified version like the BD or DTT will help for sure. What regulates the shift points is the strength of the 1-2 and 2-3 shift valve springs. By going to a stiffer spring, the shift points will go up because they will require more pressure to move the valve. Works the same way in the opposite direction... Weaker spring = lower shift points.
