Where did all the bad injectors go?

Hey I recently installed the Juice with attitude and I like many others kept seeing slippage of my clutch according to the monitor up to 6%. Made me paranoid and felt I was injuring something so today came the clutch. I went with a SBC con ofe, man this thing is great. Little firmer pedal feel but when you disengage the clutch it grabs, no sloppy stuff like the stocker. Anyhow the flywheel was a little warped but the guy turning it in the grinder said it looked like it came that way and was not the result from slipping. My buddy that installed it said to take it easy for 200-300 miles then have fun. On my way home 6th gear, 1800 rpm going up a slight grade I accelerated ever so slightly and it showed . 3%, I haven't hammered it yet. Guess what I am saying is with the 6% slip everybody is seeing your clutch ain't slipping, but I would do it again in a heartbeat cause with this setup I don't worry no more.

slip

I just installed my juice attitude thursday night. I didn't have time to hook up the EGT Probe so I just ran threw all the levels just to see if the thing worked . I have been driving in stock mode and the monitor shows that I'm getting 6% slip. The truck only has 3300 miles on it and I'm having trouble believing my clutch is slipping, ecspecialy since I only tried running the power levels for no farther than 5 or 6 miles. Should I worry about it or just drive it?

BTW the truck is an 05 6 speed srw

Yeah, mine shows the same slippage, regardless of the level on Juice. Edge said its a glitch somewhere that indicates clutch slippage.

I just turned off the function because I got tired of worrying. No problems so far on the stock unit.

I was in the same position boys but I knew I wanted to use levels 4 and 5 to their fullest so I went ahead with the SBC Con OFE. Even with this on level 1 and driving easy it will read 0. 3% going up a hill, I know for a fact this sucker ain't slipping. My position now is I no longer worry, I ain't going to slip a 450 hp clutch on any level in the Juice.

slip defuel

Do you guys use the defuel option on the attitude? I haven't run my truck very hard since I saw the monitor showing slippage. I guess I'm just paronoid that I'm slipping my clutch now.

Showed off the 8700# beast the other night to a friend. Level 4 showed up a max of 9% slip. Typically I'll see around 2-3 towing on level 1. Higher levels do give higher readings. I've tried to watch the tach and speedo at the same time to see what's going on. 5% = 100rpm in 6th gear so that should be easy to see and I' haven't seen it yet. Sounds like a glitch comewhere. Just to be safe I stay out of levels 4-5, 3 is more than enough fun for me anyway. :D

I doun't think it will tell you how much your clutch is slipping the slip mode is for the autos not for the 6 speed

Book says either TC slip or clutch slip. My guess is it looks at RPM and MPH and if something goes amiss it calculates how much. Just a guess though.

I usually run the display with only EGT and water temp showing. EGT post turbo for shutdown and water temp to know how I'm coming along on warm up. I've got gauges on the dash that I watch, attitude is just for fun.

I also got a slippage reading of 8% with mine set on 3. Just washed about 500 lbs of mud off my truck and took out a tool box wighing around a 1000 lbs. I am also a little concerned over the 8% reading. I had it on 5 with all the extra weight and pinned it a couple of times and never got a reading. I could have been spinning the back tires... ..... I was on loose dirt! Who knows... ... . Seat of the pants says no slip.

I got slippage with the Bully Dog Torque Dog, but I don't get it with the Banks setup. That was reason enough for going with Banks.

If you add power to your trucks do you really believe that you will not have to upgrade the transmission or clutch someday?
