So before I dive in and buy a TST PMCR. I have decided to be smart and spend the money on a trans upgrade first. A few months back I saw someone post about all the different trans component companies and which ones offered the best specific product. I did the search and couldnt find it... The post went something like, (Example only: ) DTT shafts with a Suncoast coverter and a Dunrite Valvebody, or something to that nature. My question is, do you think that would be a good idea? Or does that leave room for the other companies to blame one another for their failure... Say the converter goes kaput... they can say "well you didnt use our matching shafts or vb so thats why you had a failure... no warranty) If Im going to go with one company it will more than likely be DTT (unless you guys convice me otherwise) since I have yet to see one complaint about them. Not looking to start a war or cause problems

Another question is more for just the Arizona guys. Once Im ready for the trans to go in, do you know of a good shop in AZ (Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff) that would aid in installing the parts? Excluding "A to Z Diesel" in Mesa, Im not a big fan of the owner... Dropping the trans, putting the converter and VB in isnt a problem for me, But Id rather have somone help me with the shafts... . Thanks or your time!

I think it does. It would be a shame to spend the bucks then brake a DTT input shaft that lunches a Suncoast converter. If you had the full DTT trans they might warranty the whole thing but you can't expect them to buy you a new suncoast converter.

Not that mixing parts is a bad thing, you just have to be you own warranty station.
