Has anyone tried the transmission temperature probe which attaches to your automatic transmission dipstick?

If so, how do you like it? Is it accurate? Is there a difference in temperatures if mounted in the pan or cooler lines? Is it a pain to check your ATF with the probe attached?

I originally had one of those dipstick sensors. I used bullet connectors so I could unplug it to get the dipstick out. You have to be carefull you don't break the wires with the cover thing on the end of the dipstick pushing them against the tube.
I got one of those add-a-drainplug things and put it in the pan next time I had it off and put a sensor there. Same temperature readings as the dipstick.
I just recently changed the transmission lines and put a sensor in there. Quite the difference between that and the pan, you get to watch the transmission fluid temp in real time.
