Just had a weird event happen...
Pulled the camper home from Michigan... Truck did fantastic of course (camper is only 7k lbs). Trans temp never got above 205 at any point in the trip, usually hanging at 190-195... I was pretty happy with that.
Got home, and pulled in driveway... Let truck idle to cool off the turbo before shutting her down. I got side tracked and ended up letting her run longer than I had planned, maybe 10-15 min.
When I jumped in to shut her down I glanced at the EDGE CTS... EGT's were nice and cool, but my transmission temp was 220 degree! Is this just idling with warm engine and no air flow thru the cooler?
