Wondering if there is a difference mpg between the aisin and 68rfe, with same gearing in a 3500 srw.

Should be the same. Locked is locked. Aisin has lower gears starting out. Might use slightly less fuel getting the load moving.

Ram says the Aisin is 1% more efficient. I wouldn't expect any significant difference in the real world.
