Transfer case 241 HD

Planning on changing the fluid in the Transfer case but unable to locate the drain plug, and also the fill area. Any help would be appreciated.

Not 100% possitive but on the one in my 96 Ram both of them were on the rear of the case and required a ratchet to remove, probobly torks or a large cresent on the latter model case

Thats what the shop manual shows for 96 I doubt they would change location.

Just bought a '95 4x4. What kind of fluid goes in the transfer case on these rascals, anyway?

danandme, I believe the fluid is ATF Dextron II or III also If memory serves me right they say that if someone uses the ol' 80w90 the case could be a total loss.
