Not 100% possitive but on the one in my 96 Ram both of them were on the rear of the case and required a ratchet to remove, probobly torks or a large cresent on the latter model case

danandme, I believe the fluid is ATF Dextron II or III also If memory serves me right they say that if someone uses the ol' 80w90 the case could be a total loss.
