transfer case change a/t to stk

i plan to swap to a lower mile transfer case



mine in trk is a 5 spd t case ( hooked to a 5 spd)



the one i have is from a automatic transmission 1993

same year



any splines , parts that r different??



ifs it not a problem ill check my old t case and keeep it for a spare

The input shafts are bigger on the manual I know that for a fact. The case may also have different imput shaft bearings as some 205's came with the larger front bearing and some did not. I haven't been able to find out what the difference was.



As for rebuild parts all 205's are mostly the same except for the inputs and outputs changed with manufacturer and with appliacation.



What is wrong with your 205 now??? I have rebuilt several and most were due to not enough lube or leaky seals. They are one stout unit.

in a 1st gen , only has leaky seals



and 965 foot pounds of tork.





i guess its may better to sell or trade





can i get seals at dealer?

I have seen a rebuild kit for a NP 205 on the web site www.drivetrain.com Hope this helps.
