Well I’m going to post for you. What you can do to find out where the concern is check the shifter linkage, because you may have enough movement to keep it in 4 hi but not in 4 low. You can remove the shifter boot and see what the main body of the shifter looks like if the corners are worn down but even if they are it should not pop out. What you could do then is on sand or dirt remove the shifter rod from the lever on the t-case and manually put it in full 4 low and drive to see if it still pops out and if it does then you got to pull it. It’s set up like a manual trans. Oo.
