Transfere Case Leak
Your front seal should be a double lip seal and before installing the new seal put some sealer on the the steel outside part of the seal that pushes in against the transfere case and make sure that your star seal that sits on the front output shaft is not torn or it will leak out fluid around the yoke nut. I rebuild transfere cases where i work when they are assembled the get pressurized with 4 psi of air and dipped into watertank to make sure there are no leaks, that is two common areas for leaks the case will get a gouge where the seal is pressed into the t-case and without sealer on trhe outside of the seal it will leak out of the nick or gouge in the case, usually caused when somebody removes the seal and hits the case with a chisel or screw driver. I would also check the yoke for a groove wore into the smooth surface where the seal rides. Ok i'll quit blabbin on. Oo.
