Competition Exhaust system for pulling

Competition really dumb question Hee hee

Hey guys, a friend of mine just got a 2001 1500 Off Road package Dodge, it's an automatic, which position is his transfer case supposed to be in for normal driving? I ask this because my 5 speed diesel has to be in 2H to go, but his truck drove in N on the transfer case, I told him I wasn't sure, plus his transfer case lay out is different from mine (ooh and it's a gasser:eek: ), thanks for the help.

i had one and it had to be in 2h. The lever should be straight up and not back in 4h or forward in N or 4L. it might be that he melted a vacuum line i did the same thing and that could be his problem. i might be wrong but i do not think think you can run in N.

Okay that's what I thought, in neutral it shouldn't go. Okay I'll check it out with him and test the other positions. Thanks for the input.
