2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Transfer case question

Any one have a break down picture of a 96 transfer case or know where i can get one????

I tried searches everywhere on the net for transfer case internal diagrams. No luck. I finally ordered the service manuals from techauthority a few days ago for $59.

Haynes or Chilton manual have it? The pictures are usually decent. Can't always count on the rest of it though.

I have a service manual ($142. 00 OFB Dodge) what did you need to know. Maybe I can help you.



'96 RAM 2500/3500, 1 ton springs, DANA 80, duallies, 230HP, K&N, Valve springs, guages, converted to 5 speed, 2WD Low mod.

Love my truck even if it is WHITE.

Well,i think the front drive shaft input shaft split in half because you can put it in 4wd and spin the front shaft with a bad grinding sound:--) . So i wanted to take it apart and put a new input shaft in it and i just wondered if anyone had like a break-down on it.

Service Manual

You may be right about me getting TOOK on the price of the service manual. This thing weighs about 10 lbs and is 2 1/2" thick. It is 1996 Service Manual RAM TRUCK, 1500 - 3500, two wheel, 4 wheel drive, from Chrysler Corporation. I found it to be really helpful as I do all of my own work. If I got took, well that seems to be the story of my life. Thanks for the input.
