Transfer case selector

Here's another "intelligent" question. . LOL



05-3500 Laramie 4WD. On power up (key on) the faint amber "4N" light comes on momentarily. I've yet to discover how, or even if, it is possible to put the electric controlled transfer case into neutral as is possible with the manual selector ones.



Anyone have a clue ?

This is from your owners manual.



NOTE: The transfer case Neutral (N) position is selected

by depressing the recessed button located on the lower

left hand corner of the 4WD Control Switch. The transfer

case Neutral (N) position is to be used for recreational

towing only. See the Recreational Towing section for

specific procedures on shifting into and out of Neutral

(N).
