Seems pretty straight forward but somehow I'm missing something here.

How does the interior bezel come off for the Transfer Case shifter.

I can't seem to figure it out.

With all the darn glue these idiots used to glue down the carpet and ruined the floor underneath, I wonder if they glued the bezel in place.

I seems like there are bolts under the cover.

I cut around it but time has come to get the thing out.

I am not sure about the names of the parts, but on my truck (manual 6 spd) the bottom of the flexible boot for the transfer case shifter is snapped into place into the plastic base that is part of the cupholders. Unsnapping the bottom of the boot exposes two bolts (or nuts) to remove the shifter.

Hope this helps.

Will take some pics maybe if that is not it.

It's amazing how hacked up this all was.

They definitely skipped some steps and rushed this interior during a full frame off rebuild.

Not sure this helps.

Hey that's my nasty carpet! Pretty funny as I am exactly where this guy was, I just gave up and figured it was the crappy install.

I'll take back those comments but I still think it's sad when a shop reinstalls and glues down an old rust soaked carpet that was never glued to a brand new floor. I'll have to do a few shots of how it was done.

This was really stupid, I tried to remove this thing multiple times and just gave up.

The thing pops right off and had 6 Phillip head screws.
