I have a 1996 dodge 2500 with the cummins engine. Heavy duty transfer case and 83,000 miles. Mostly highway driving with little towing. The transfer case seems to have a lot of slop in it. I can probably turn it 5 degrees before it stops. All the u joints are good. Is this just normal wear or is something wrong with it. Maybe it always did it but I seem to notice it more now.
