transfer case upgrade

I have heard that stock transfer cases on 2500 dodges are only good for 4-5 pulls. I do not have the heavy duty t. c. . I was wondering if anyone knows of anybody who makes an upgrade for these. I believe the clip breaks on the shaft(correct me if i am wrong... . not unusual ). I am wanting to upgrade this or fix the problem while i am installing my clutch which will be happening soon!!!

Hmmm, seems somebody was pullin your chain. There are many guys that have many 4 wheel launches on the non-HD t-case with no problems. That is not to say that it is indestructible. Even the all-mighty CUMMINS could blow a rod at the track... ... maybe. However, if mine ever went out I would upgrade to the HD T-case just for re-assurance.

Oops, thought you were talkin 'bout Drag Racing. Sled Pulls are a totally different animal and I will let someone who is more qualified answer that for you since I have no clue.
