Can anyone tell me if there is an O'Ring type of set up on the back of the transfer case on an '03, where the driveshaft meshes up with the output shaft. mine seems to be leaking through the yoke and decorating the bottom of my rig with expensive ATF, buddy of mine seems to think we can just pull shaft and fill the hole that goes through yoke with some silicone and call it done, anyone else? TIA!!

yes, pull the yoke, clean it good with brake kleen, and cover the hole with silicone. let the silicone dry for about 30 minutes before driving and you should be good to go. BYe the way, how do you like the 14 CM housing on the sps 62 for spooling with the 6 speed? good luck, Steve

So. . no O-ring back there then? Turbo seems to spool extremely well, even when pulling heavy loads on the GN. . Just made 2 back to back container runs from Vegas to Taos NM last weekend... wish I woud've gotten one sooner, waiting to see how it does running empty mileage wise to Oklahoma next week, have 2 trips there to make inside of 1. 5 weeks. . provided they stop getting iced in.

I pulled my yoke cleaned it up and cut a peace of cardboard the size of shaft hole. Then I put some silicone inside the bottom of the yoke and placed the cardboard in the hole and put the yoke back on the shaft. If it works for fords at the dealerships I figured it would work for me in the garage.
