Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Transfer Case

Anybody know the name of the outfit that has the improved, bulletproof fix for the snap ring in the back of the transfer case. I know it was in a past issue of TDR, but I have not been able to locate it. Thanks

There is a better fix than that but the link no longer works to to site restructuring. The article showed the failure modes invloving the snap ring and how to use a Borg Warner snap ring that was unbreakable. I've emailed them to see if the article (actually written by a rebuilder) can be located. It was in the Sept 2001 issue but I cant access the archives. I'll advise when I hear back if you want.
