Just bought a 2016 Ram 3500 SRW with Cummins and the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck prep. Would be interested in an in-bed aux tank.

Love their products and the Gal remaining Traxx system was a great resource to plan the next cheap fuel stop by range and current MPG towing.

I have already suggested to their deaf ears that they need to get into the ULSD and Biodiesel future that is today! if I ever buy another aux tank it won't be metal. Once the Diesel bugs take over the metal tanks are near impossible to clean out and leave all kinds of pits to rust and contaminate HPCR injectors. The plastic tanks like your ~2003 on up pickup has: you just clean the plastic tank out with soapy water, dry it, and call it a day.

Titan, their competitor, already offers plastic type of tanks.

This is what diesel bugs look like in a Transfer Flow in bed toolbox combo tank. Their suggestion replace the tank, but, only available as a complete new tank system. Sent to industrial radiator shop - concern about a coating kept them from boiling it out. 2 weeks later it was cleaned, but, pitted. Use on old injection system that isn't a HPCR now.

I requested a poly tank from Transfer Flow before buying the steel tank I purchased. (Lund) I have a tank that measures 60" long, 12' wide and 18" deep. 50 gallons! Why limit capacity to 43 gallons? The only limiting factor for the full size Rams is bed height. Which is 20". Or about 18" leaving room for fill neck & cap. Still being able to use a bed cover of some sort. I would rather have the poly tank for reasons stated in the above post. Now I just use a anti bacteria additive (Killem) to avoid the fungus.

I coated it with LineX (outside) and it looks like it came from FCA matching the factory bed coating.

A long bed Ram could use a significantly wider tank for even more capacity. (mine's a short bed) It clears all the factory fifth wheel prep too.

With the water ULSD can hold and any mixed in Biodiesel suspends even more water in the fuel, like hygroscopic brake fluid, Killem a product that ONLY works at the water boundary in the bottom of the tank and is useless today. There is enough water in the fuel itself to grow the bugs in the fuel. The higher the Biodiesel % the more water the fuel can hold above and beyond the ULSD higher water holding vs. older LSD and real diesel of the long gone past. You need a dual phase product that works in the fuel for the ULSD and any Bio put in. Dual-Phase — effective in both diesel fuel and water like:

Powerservice BIO KLEEN, lucas oil biomedic, Hammonds Biobor, sta-bil diesel biocide

Many products are the same 'pesticide' with a different brand name. One should change up the 'pesticide' now and then as the bugs can become immune to one type.

Hey Transferflow: Quit recommending Killem - It's USELESS in ULSD!!! There was a lot of Killem in that tank doing nothing - look at the growth on the tank walls from fuel alone. Hopefully they already have.

To late for me. Just installed the RDS Transfer Tank 45 gal. in bed tank. I would like a similar tank, but in a 20 to 25 gallon size and would do the swap if someone made one. Here are some pictures of the 45 gallon RDS Tank with my Husky toolbox installed behind it.

I had some special requirements for my 2003 2500, and with Transfer Flow a few hours away it couldn't get any better. Ready to purchase but the company said no modifications. Ended up buying from another outfit who was hungry for my business.

Would prefer a replacement tank for the long bed. Less problems with stagnant fuel. If others an make this tank they should ba able to also.
