Transfer Flow

TF is now listing their 54 gal replacement tank only for 4wd trucks. They used to list it for all. ANybody know why the change?

They are saying it is clearance???

I have one of the Transfer Flow 54 gal. replacement fuel tanks on my '98. 5 QC LWB 4x4... and love it!



I'm wondering if it could be the reduced ground clearance... the 54 gal. replacement tank hangs down several inches farther than the OE tank.

My 54 gallon tank hangs around 2" lower than stock in the front, around 3" in the rear. You should call Transfer Flow at 800-442-0056 and ask them directly. My 2001 catalog specifies long bed extended cab (club or quad).
