Need help in finding a rear seal for the transfer case.

The three major stores don't seem to show or not in stock and

wont' get one for ever. Again away from home, in Charlotte

now. Had to replace the rear u-joint and must have tore the seal

when re-inserting the yoke. I always lube up before, but... .

Where can I find one, dealer, or trans shop?

Thanks for the help.

I believe a National 710653 will work, but I don't think it's the triple lip design with the dust boot... . but to get it home... You've got the NP 271, right?

Might need to grab an actual paper phone book and look up;

-Bearing supply shops

-Driveline shops

-4x4 shops

-Diesel repair shops (general automotive/non dealer)

and others of the like.

If they don't have anything, ask them if they can refer or suggest another place to check. If they cross reference to another manufacturer, get that part number as well.

Someone in Charlotte will have it, you just need to find it.
