Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Transmision problem

I need advice, started having a problem with down shifting when speed is around 50 MPH going up a incline, the rpm jumps up approximately 200 for just a second then back down, then back up and so on until I either speed up or slow down. It does not seem to do it at other speeds. I have 130,000 miles on the truck, never tow anything very heavy, no engine mods. #@$%!

This is your Torque Converter unlocking then locking... This is caused by a noise in your electrical system. I had the same problem and the only fix for me was a DTT Noise Filter. You can try cleaning your electrical grounds but this only made mine worse. Save yourself some time and order the DTT noise filer.

Seems like it was around $50-60... Very easy install...
