Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Transmission and transfercase oil change

I know this isn't a tech ? or problem but I can't find my book . I'm changing oils in both the trans and transfercase and I need to know the amount of oil for each. I'm putting in royal purple in the 5 speed and atf-4 in the transfer. I hate to have too much or too little. Thanks

Well, an 02 looks a lot like an 01 so I would guess they hold about the same quantities. Looks like you have determine which transmission and t-case.

From the 02 FSM:

Transfer Case:

NV241 = 4. 61 pints (2. 18 liter)
NV241 HD = 6. 51 pints (3. 08 liter)


Manual Trans:

NV4500 = 8. 0 pints (3. 8 liter)
NV5600 = 9. 5 pints (4. 5 liter)
