A fellow TDR member called me tonight, he doesn't have internet access now but his 2001 CTD auto is throwing a P1792 code which is the gov pressure is out of wack. He is looking for a good transmission shop here in the Victor Valley so if anybody has an idea I'd told I would ask group and let him know what I found.
His truck has 152k on the clock with the only mod is an E-brake. The truck is still drivable and he does tow a fiver with it.
A bit of more info what statred this was he was in reverse and put it in drive before comming to a complete stop.
He had another question that I didn't have the answer to since my truck is a 12 valve, is why do the valve need to be adjusted at 52k and then at 150K?
