transmission Code ?

Hello just wondering if anybody could explain to me the code P1751. It says "Shift Solenoid A Performance" What it does after my transmission rebuild, when going any speed if I step on it all the way it acts like it goes into Neutral revs then let I let off throttle and then it will hit a gear. Iv'e tried turning the key to ON and leaving alone for 3-4 minutes, then starting it to see if computor is relearning new transmission but no real difference. Thanks for any help.

Oh yea, also does anyone know if turning the key to on for a few minutes and then starting it actually does some sort of reprograming for the computor? Anybody chime in Thanks
