transmission cooler line questions

Which line is the return, and which is the outgoing?? Need to build a new (or modify old) outgoing line for the transmission temp sending unit.

Outgoing (the hotter of the two) is the front one - closer to the engine. You can see it here:

You can see the crimp connector where it transitions to rubber - this was the result of the recall DC issued about breaking the trans cooler due to vibration.



I purchased a modified line from Mass Diesel that he cut, flared, and installed a Tee fitting for a sender. Works well.
