wtfd6 said:I dont remember one being in my trans lines. I work at a transmission shop and we remove those check valves when we do a rebuild. they usually plug up causing early failure. I have never seen one that stuck open. it shouldnt take more than about a second to fill up. if it takes longer something else is probably wrong.

The checkball is in the lines up near the cooler.

Joe Mc said:When my trans was DTT'ed I was told it moves fluid regardless of shift position, unlike stock it will move fluid in park. My trans rebuilder told me he made it so it would move fluid in park. Never had any wait time or trouble with fluid movement.
