I think you can use the 2 bolt,but you have to put the third bolt in fist before you put in the filter and then put the filter up. I am refering to the stock oem filter,Bill said We can use it just put the off set bolt in first,and then put the filter on,I couldnt find that filter so I got one from dealer.

The filter number that I have is Mopar 52118789

This is a 2 bolt part number

The oem filter looks to be a better filter,I just changed mine also after the 1000 mile fluid change that Bill K recomended,I tryed to find the same filter that Bill K sent but couldnt find one,so I just got the OEM from dealer 2 bolt and it works fine. .

Harry,

You can get the filter at any transmission shop. Its off the 727 transmissions, and its alot cheaper ($2)than the 2 bolt filter and works better.

Fram 1039 was the number for all the 94 to 97 or so. Or just ask for a filter for a 94 to 97. They are about $7. 00 compared to $14. 00 at Autozone. They will come with two gaskets. Use one throw one.
