transmission flash

had my 07 in shop today. been having 0128,2000 codes flashed with the new ax flash dont notice any differance at this time also had latest trans flash done did notice a big differance, it shifts a lot harder and down shifts harder tow haul is off. i was always told harder shifts both up and down are best,just wondering if that is true? i have 42000 miles on my truck and despite numurous flashes i like the truck, after 42000 miles with real soft shifts the harder shifts will take some getting used to. any transmission guys inputs would be great thank you

I wasn't aware there were any 'transmission' re-flashes. Were you having transmission shifting problems or requested the re-flash? I'm not sure I would like it shifting like it does in Tow/Haul all the time.

I would like a firmer shifting trans. Maybe there are some adjustable parameters the techs can adjust?

my down shifting was horrible, down shifting from 2nd to 1st was very hard and usually you would hear a loud slap of slack and feel a hard jolt from the transmission. the AW flash corrected all of that for me

Mine shifted good and firm until they did the g30 now it shifts like a sponge!!But in T/H with the E brake it will slide the tires!!
