Just had the Trans recall done. Funny thing...I made an appointment two weeks prior....took truck in to have it done. End of day service tech called and said all done. When I picked it up he said "Bad news..part not in stock. Had to order parts. We can only get 1 parts kit per week"....as I stood there scratching my head.."Ah...I made this appointment two weeks ago!!??" I guess. When I inspected the replaced dip stick I asked the service writer if he is going to come to my house with the REAL dipstick and check my fluids. I received a funny look...he had no idea! I asked the mechanic for the original dipstick.
As I was finishing up paperwork the service writer said the Heater Grid Relay Recall was recalled again. I told him I did this last year. He said "They recalled the recall!" Hmmmm. Now I carry A fire extinguisher in the cab! But I sure do like this truck!!

I disconnected the grid heater relay at the battery. 10 m nut covered wireend starts fine in warm garage and after running. Wouldn’t want to try it at 20-30-40 below without it. And also no check engine light. On the list waiting my turn

Thanks Terry. The service writer from the local Ram dealer just called me & said the fix is a month or two away.
I am going to review the connection at the battery.

Sounds like time for a class action lawsuit its not like they didnt know about it? Been two years going on ....

A class action suit does nothing to speed up a repair, only lines the pockets of the law firm.
Agreed but it helps with providing solutions rather than sit and wait. I have a new 2023 3500 DRW that I cannot take possession of. If I had possession I would disconnect or purchase aftermarket relay (same capacity) and replace.

In the mean time interest rates are going up because of this awesome economy (jk) and the value of my trade is diminishing.

@Tuesdak, had made a suggestion of putting a thermal fuse to cut current before a fire could start. I think that would be a great fix to the problem since this relay is directly attached to the battery! Got me thinking about putting one on my truck for a just in case, could also help with the heater nut issue. JM2C.

Took my truck in today to get new front tires and three recalls done. Grid heater relay, tailgate latch alignment, and transmission dipstick recalls. Got the tires on, tailgate latch recall done, and no heater relay or dipstick recalls completed. They said they've been instructed that the dipstick recall has been stopped. They have no other information on it. And they said the heater relay recall was done, but when I looked at the paperwork when I got home, I don't see it listed anywhere. Guess I'll have to call them in the morning.....

Grid heater recalls haven’t started being preformed on the 22’s yet.

Had the the trans dipstick done last week. I told them I wanted my old dipstick back after the repair, and they said ok. Went to pick my truck up, and they said Chrysler has a memo out saying under no circumstances will the customer be able to retain the old dipstick. I was pissed. They gave me a copy of it, and also instructions on how to check the oil. When I got home I checked what had been replaced, and noted that the new dipstick is the same length as the old one (44"), but it has a locking type handle. I'm happy with it.

Is there a part# on this new locking dipstick??

That sounds like they figured out the final solution by now.
There's nothing on the entire length of the dipstick, including no oil type info or anything. It has 2 holes for the low level, an 2 more for the high level. That's it. I also know they did not remove or replace the actual tube that the dipstick fits in. Here's what it looks like under the hood. I just got back yesterday from a 1,000 mile trip.

Glad they fixed it. The initial repairs included dipsticks that were not long enough to check fluid levels.
