Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) transmission fluid

Want to change my transmission fluid this week. How many quarts does the transmission hold with a deep sump Mag-hytec transmission pan.

IIRC, if you just drop the pan only, the stocker takes about 5qts. Add whatever the new pan holds also.

Per Mag's website 727-D... 6. 5 qts 727-DD... 9 qts.

Last time I serviced mine it took 11-12 quarts with the DDpan. Just dropped the pan and changed the filter.

What about manual

doesa manual transmission take more or less and what about them oil coolers I seen in the book, issue 47 some where in the middle gives 1/4 tap for guagen a manual and allows more oil copacity whatchall think about them????????????
