sorry to hear about you troubles tmass. i wouldnt see it as a bad thing, just you transmission was being nice and breaking down, almost telling you to go get a beeifier transmission to replace it!

I'm going to be making some calls to Suncoast and DTT tomorrow. We'll see what I find out. Wish I would have had more money saved up though. Would like to resort to rebuilding my own, since I have the knowledge and don't have the money. So the company that I will choose will depend on that too. I think DTT wants theirs done in a trained service shop, whereas Suncoast doesn't care. Now that I think of it, I may call Goerand's too because they are only down in Iowa, which isn't far. It's going to be a busy night tonight doing research. I was waiting for this day to happen where I would need to fix my trans, but sucks that I didn't come prepared. It just happened out of the blue... .

i believe suncaost makes a xtreme rebuild kit that has all updated clutches and band struts. drop thier triple disc converter in and have some fun! good luck with you search tmass. im now worrieed about my turbo :{ ive been barking it way too much lately and im sure 38-40 psi isnt helping the situation.
