i installed a trans go shift kit in my 47 re and it now has a problem where it has a hard spot in the acc pedal about 90% throttle, if i do not overcome that hard spot it doesnt shift and gradually slips till it is like nuetral. if i push past the hard spot it shifts normally, but once i let the acc pedal all the way out it starts all over. any ideas? :{ :{ :{

just seems like there is a bind in the acc pedal at about 90% throttle, and as you push the pedal you just overcome it and the transmission shifts normally. sometimes it is just normal and smooth but when it is hard pedal, you know it

Disconnect the cable at the transmission and work it by hand. Is the tight spot still there? Did you get the TV valve in correctly?

It is easy to drop the pan and watch it move.

Then get back to us.

i will try that thanks, the tv valve had to be ground as per shift kit instructions, i will give your suggestions a shot.

hope so, but i guess i will find out here when i take it apart again. :{

it has been working fine for about 4 months at least. hmmmm

My truck before any mods had the tight spot at 90% throttle. New from the factory. Feels like kickin in the 4barrels on a gaser.
