transmission guys in my area? (San Jose, Ca)

I am thinking of getting a VB and a Converter even though I just got my truck two days ago.

I am looking for a shop anywhere close to me of even a couple hundred miles away that can do the trans work for me.



I have a local trans guy that I deal with for most things but I am not sure if he would be into this work or not.

There is a small shop over here that does all our work. He just fixed a "01 that busted a reverse ring gear off this week. He's been doing VB's and TC's without any problem.



Blair knows a couple shops over near his area.

Jim @ Dan's Transmissions in SJ

I think I got that in the proper order. It was either a guy named Jim at a shop called Dan's Transmissions or Dan at a shop called Jim's transmissions..... But I am almost positive it was Jim @ Dan's Transmissions. The shop is on San Jose street I think... little side alley kind of street. Blair Pine recommended them, and they did my South Bend clutch install. Awesome people, great guy that Jim, who I watched for 5 hours while he did the work. First rate job.

If the price is what he said then this may happen sooner rather than later since it is about half what I was expecting.
